Cardiff City edged one step closer to the Premiership dream today after beating QPR in a tense encounter at Loftus Road. In a game littered with chances for both sides it was Cardiff born Ledley's 80th minute header that ultimately secured a top 6 finish for the Bluebirds.City agonisingly missed out on the play-off's last year by one goal, but have gone one better this year with a couple of games still to play. with local rivals Swansea also looking to secure a play-off spot, it could be a massive few weeks for south Wales football, and an even bigger event if City and the Jacks end up meeting in the final. What a day that would be!
For now, I'm content to bask in the glory of City's best ever finish in the league programme for many a long year.
